An official from the Parliament emphasizes “opportunities” for “gradual” EU inclusion

On Monday, Maka Botchorishvili, the head of the Georgian Parliament’s European Integration Committee, stated that there were “opportunities” for Georgia to “gradually integrate” into the EU.

She stated that the Georgian delegation would examine reforms and the execution of the European Commission’s recommendations for starting accession talks with the nation during her remarks at the current Conference on the Common Foreign and Security Policy and the Common Security and Defense in Bruges.There are prospects for Georgia to gradually integrate into the European Union and its single market, and it is crucial in our opinion that these chances be made available to Georgia as soon as feasible, stated Botchorishvili.

The official from the Parliament also emphasized how crucial it is to make the bloc’s enlargement program “effective” and to proceed “without delays.”
