Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia issues statement regarding snap presidential election

A statement about the early presidential election that Azerbaijan is planning to hold on February 7 has been released by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia.

“Azerbaijani nationals, who are 18 years of age or older and are temporarily living, studying, or working in Georgia, are able to exercise their right to vote at the polling place located at the embassy.”

“A Precinct Election Commission N47 of Yasamal Second Election Commission N416 is situated on Vakhtang Gorgasali Street in Tbilisi and was founded at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia.”

Citizens of Azerbaijan who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to vote as long as they present the precinct election commission with one of the following valid documents: a domestic passport, diplomatic passport, or service passport.

In addition, voters who are 18 years old and eligible to vote in Azerbaijan but lack the necessary passports can still cast their ballots by presenting a valid ID card.

The presidential election will be held on February 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m., according to the statement.
