AMMAN — A food aid drive was announced by the Qatari Embassy in Jordan on Tuesday. The campaign’s goal is to provide 874 food baskets to families in need and a wide range of targeted populations across the Kingdom.
According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, this project is a joint venture between the Qatar Charity Organization and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
The campaign is a part of humanitarian efforts carried out on the emir of Qatar’s orders, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, according to a statement from the embassy.
