According to Azernews, plans are underway for Azerbaijani nationals living abroad to cast ballots in the upcoming extraordinary presidential elections scheduled for February 7, 2024.

Extensive efforts are being made to set up polling places at Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions, embassy administrative buildings, and consulates abroad in order to protect the voting rights of Azerbaijanis living abroad.

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Washington has requested that all citizens of Azerbaijan who are 18 years of age or older, whether they are long-term visitors, temporary residents, or residents of the United States on business, provide their information to be added to the voter list.

In addition to the capital, Azerbaijani citizens living in New York and surrounding areas should be able to cast their ballots at the polling place located in the Azerbaijani Embassy in Washington:

“The continuous work keeps moving forward. The public will soon be able to get information about the Election Center operations in this area from the Consulate in Los Angeles.”

It is noteworthy to emphasize that Azerbaijan’s extraordinary presidential elections are set for February 7 of this year.
