In Washington, DC, the Bangladeshi Embassy welcomes the National Press Club’s new president.

On Friday, January 20, at the annual membership gathering, the National Press Club in Washington, DC, experienced a change in leadership. Emily Wilkins was sworn in as president, succeeding outgoing President Eileen O’Reilly.

Minister (Press) AZM Sajjad Hossain of the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, DC, who is a member of this exclusive club in the United States, was one of the notable guests. To Emily Wilkins, who was sworn in as the club’s new president, Minister (Press) Hossain sent her warm regards on behalf of the embassy and best wishes for a fruitful term in office. He also used the occasion to thank and congratulate Eileen O’Reilly, the outgoing president, for her excellent management of the club’s operations throughout her term.
