Last Monday, Togo formally opened its new embassy in Doha, Qatar. Robert Dussey, the foreign minister of Togo, and Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, the secretary-general of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
The openness is consistent with Togo’s goals of forming new international alliances and deepening its integration into the dynamics of international investment and commerce. According to Robert Dussey, the new embassy will be vital to strengthening bilateral ties in important areas including commerce, business, and culture.
Al Hammadi applauded the action and emphasized Qatar’s dedication to forging amicable and advantageous relationships. Furthermore, he emphasized that the inauguration of the embassy is consistent with Qatar’s aim of broadening its diplomatic network and broadening its range of strategic partnerships.
