Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, said during a news conference on Saturday, “We are committed to addressing two key aspects in the process of reinstating the operations of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Iran,” as noted by News.Az.
As Bayramov pointed out, the first and most important step is the conclusion of the terrorist event inquiry and the announcement of a verdict. The embassy’s complete security and giving Azerbaijan reassurance in this regard are the second main priorities.
“The decision to bring back embassy staff members and their families to Azerbaijan was made due to the inadequate guarantee of their complete safety,” stated the Foreign Minister.
